Dear BIKE Transalp community, participants and partners,

We are writing to officially inform you that BIKE Transalp will not be taking place in 2026. As organisers, we found this decision extremely difficult—as you can imagine. Nevertheless, after careful consideration, we have jointly decided to take a break from Transalp.

The main reason for this is the considerable financial expense involved in organising an event of this magnitude every year, coupled with declining participant numbers. For a variety of reasons, these no longer reach the levels of the early years.

Like many other industries, the cycling and biking industry is currently facing economic challenges. Rather than explaining this in detail here, we would like to look ahead — critically, but with lots of energy, new ideas and the firm determination to actively shape the future of our events.

The good news is that even in summer 2026, you won't miss out on the unique multi-day experience of Gravel Peaks in the Alps! With our new Gravel Peaks stage event, we are creating a platform for passionate cyclists in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable.

The TOUR Transalp is the most unique road cycling experience of the year. Taking place in the heart of the legendary Alps from 21–27 June 2026, it awakens the passion of every roadie.
