(1) The following General Terms and Conditions apply to contracts for participation in events between the Delius Klasing Verlag (organizer) and its customers (participants).

(2) Current amendments, which take into account the legitimate interests of the participants, will be published on the Internet They are part of the contract in the version valid at the time of registration, unless the participant objects to the changes within one week after receipt of the changes.

II Conclusion of the contracts

(1) Registration can only be made online on the homepage using the corresponding "web form". Registration via online registration is binding for the participant. After the online registration has been completed , the participant will initially receive a confirmation of this. A binding contract for participation in the event shall only be concluded upon receipt of an express confirmation of registration, which shall also include a request for payment of the participation fee.

(2) A transfer of the contract to a third person is only possible with the consent of the organizer.

III. prices and payment modalities

(1) The participation fee is € 429 per participant.

(2) Payments can only be made by direct debit, credit card or, for participants with foreign bank details, by bank transfer. Any costs arising from a return debit note will be borne by the participant.

IV. Withdrawal of the Participant - Cancellation Fees

(1) The participant may withdraw from the contract. The following cancellation fees apply:

- In case of withdrawal 20 days prior to the event concerned or earlier, the participant will be refunded 60% of the participation fee.

- In case of withdrawal between 10 and 20 days before the event concerned, the participant will be refunded 40% of the participation fee.

- In case of withdrawal within 10 days before the event concerned, the participant will be refunded 20% of the participation fee upon presentation of a medical certificate.

- In case of withdrawal within 10 days before the event concerned, the participant will not be refunded without a medical certificate.

(2) Cancellation can only be made in writing to the organizer.

V. Liability - cancellation of the event - exclusion of a participant

(1) Liability for contractual breaches of duty and for tort is limited to intent and gross negligence. This does not apply in case of injury to life, body and health of the customer, claims due to the violation of main contractual obligations, i.e. obligations resulting from the nature of the contract and the violation of which endangers the achievement of the purpose of the contract, as well as compensation for damages caused by delay (§ 286 BGB). In this respect, we shall be liable for any degree of fault. Liability in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations shall be limited to the regularly foreseeable damage.

(2) In the case of justified commissioning of third parties, e.g. rescue services, the costs incurred are to be borne by the participant or the organizer has the right to collect any costs incurred from the participant.

(3) If the event is cancelled, even in part, for reasons beyond the control of the organizer (e.g. force majeure), the participant has no right to a refund of the participation fee or compensation for other damages, such as travel or accommodation costs.

(4) In the event of violations that could disrupt the proper course of the event or endanger the safety of the other participants, the organizer is entitled to exclude the person in question from the event at any time. Furthermore, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify and/or exclude a participant from the event at any time if the participant has either provided false information regarding personal data when registering.

VI. Information on the Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

According to § 312 b para. 3 no. 6 BGB (German Civil Code), the regulations on distance contracts do not apply to contracts for the provision of services in the field of leisure activities, if the entrepreneur undertakes upon conclusion of the contract to provide the services at a specific time or within a precisely specified period. In accordance with this legal provision, there is no right of withdrawal for contracts concerning participation in the events offered by the organizer.

IX. Final Provisions

(1) The terms and conditions as well as the contractual relationship between the publisher and the participant are subject to German law.

(2) In business transactions with merchants, legal entities under public law or special funds under public law, the place of jurisdiction for legal actions shall be Bielefeld. .
