The Premiere

For the first time in the 26-year history of the BIKE Transalp, there will be a separate section for e-mountain bikers. In 7 stages, the route leads through the most beautiful regions of the Alps from the Zugspitze to Lake Garda.

Participants will have the opportunity to ride the original route of the world-famous BIKE Transalp and experience the legend up close. There will be the opportunity to swap batteries along the route and ambitious riders can compete against each other - on fixed sections with timekeeping.

Key Facts for PROPAIN EMTB Transalp

• Premiere of the EMTB Transalp, starting places limited to 75 participants
• Participants start with their own bike or rental bikes from our partners
• The same route is to be completed, but the start is at different time to the Transalp racers
• There is no timekeeping from start to finish, but "challenges" on the route provide some spice and sporting spirit
• Each participant needs a second battery (sum of both batteries: minimum 1.200 watt hours)
• A battery exchange station will be set up along the route
• Professional event structure and organization with a team of 150 organizers and helpers
• Discover the adventure of the Explorer Days on 1 or 2 stages
