Something BIG is coming our way :-)! Ruhr Tourismus GmbH is currently developing the ‘HaldenRausch’ as an official multi-day gravel ride between Duisburg and Dortmund. Project manager Jochen is taking you on a little preview tour. The shuttle bus will first take you to the Tetraeder and then back to the festival site via several slag heaps. Some of the trails even venture into MTB territory.

Jochen’s guided gravel ride starts on Saturday, 12 September 2026 at 1.30 pm at the radrevier.ruhr information stand on the Gravel Ground. You can also sign up for the free tour at the radrevier.ruhr stand during the Expo opening hours.

A short, fast test ride powered by Maxxis, promising plenty of variety with just a few turns of the pedals. Steep climbs, tricky trails, fast tarmac sections, laid-back gravel paths, plus stunning views and picturesque forest tracks – in short, everything to make a gravel rider’s heart beat faster.

The guided gravel ride led by Jochen starts on Sunday, 13 September 2026 at 10.30 am at the radrevier.ruhr information stand on the Gravel Ground. You can also sign up for the free tour at the radrevier.ruhr stand during the expo opening hours. The ride will then wrap up at the Maxxis stand.
