The seven-day Transalp route always is a powerful composition, and we are currently finalising the details. One thing is certain, though: it will once again be an exciting mix of driving rock 'n' roll, pounding beats, solemn symphonic interludes and chilled sounds. Your heart will pound on the climbs, not only because the air is thinner and the roads are steeper, but also because the epic landscape amid the mighty mountains will take your breath away with its sheer beauty. There will be time to pause and take in the landscape, letting the vastness sink in. This composition also features an alternation between tension and relaxation, loud and quiet, slow and fast. When you cruise through sunny green hills and soak up the warmth after the mountain air has whistled around your ears on racy descents. That is the Transalp.
This composition's exciting, wild mix is not just made up of roads to conquer. Day after day, the landscape changes from bizarre rock formations to lush meadows and wide, sunny plains to deep valleys. There is a constant change in cultural landscapes, architecture and typical dishes – you arrive in a different place every day, entering a completely different world. That is the Transalp. The pieces that we have gathered and are now going to bring together to create this wild, unpredictable and enchanting Transalp already sound really good. Once they are put together, they will really come alive. Then all the senses will be catered for. The announcement will follow in December, so stay tuned!
