New format and new route for the Shimano Gravel Ride 2025

The Shimano Gravel Ride offers the ultimate gravel adventure at the BIKE Festival Willingen. The 45-kilometre route runs through the picturesque landscape of the Sauerland via Niedersfeld, Küstelberg and Titmaringhausen and is perfect for gravel riding. Wild nature, beautiful nature reserves and unique upland moors are your constant companions along the way. This 'journey' through the rugged, unspoilt Sauerland is full of challenges, breathtaking views and pure adventure. An absolute highlight is the Graf Stollberg Hut at kilometre 28, where participants can take a well-earned break and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views (all participants receive a voucher for the hut in their starter pack).

NEW:

For the first time, your time will be measured on two sections of the route, so gravel riders looking for a challenge and a chance to compete with others will get their money's worth.

Important:

The Gravel Ride is based on GPX data and will not be signposted. The two time trials at 21.5km and 33km will be clearly signposted. A GPX-compatible navigation device is recommended for all participants.
